March 14, 2020 - as we track the Coronavirus Disease 2019 and follow local, state, and federal guidance on public meetings, it's clearly a poor time to plan a conference. In our planning we have decided to turn this in to an opportunity to explore new ways of achieving our goals. We will be developing some new capacities.
The 15th Annual Sustainable Enterprise Conference is about meeting inspiring people and finding out how North Bay businesses, government agencies and our communities work together to build a resilient economy, secure a local food system, and prosper in a changing climate.
The 2020 theme "One Planet for a Sustainable Future" explores how our activities can enhance our living systems rather than deplete them. Together we’ll identify near and long term community goals in housing, food, and our economy and present opportunities to leverage our unique abilities for a sustainable future.
Greening your business represents the biggest economic opportunity of the 21st century. Already, the companies that have successfully integrated sustainability practices are establishing themselves as industry leaders.
Now in its fifteen year, the Sustainable Enterprise Conference has long been the premium convening of leaders in the fastest growing segment in the economy--green business. This year's theme, One Planet for a Sustainable Future, will feature inspiring examples of industry sector collaborations and highlight the power of living in relationship with our ecology. North Bay entrepreneurs and small business owners looking to capitalize on the localization movement will attend.
Attend the Sustainable Enterprise Conference at SOMO Village to capitalize on opportunities in the growing green economy, discover current trends in enterprise management, and network with community leaders, academics, government officials and North Bay business owners.
